A legal service for landlords who need to take back possession of their properties is publishing its prices online.

PropertyReclaim, part of lawyers Moore Blatch, offers a fixed price service and says it is publishing its prices in the interests of transparency.

Costs start from £10 for a letter before claim for possession.

Paul Walshe, head of Property Reclaim, said: “Reclaiming property from problem tenants can be a lengthy and expensive process, and one that has often lacked transparency.

“We have developed this pricing structure for landlords and their agents so that they know what costs they are facing.”

Moore Blatche has specialised in repossession for some 15 years, acting for some of the country’s largest letting agents.
