The Residential Landlords Association has appointed its first chief executive, Andrew Goodacre.

He was formerly head of regional staff at the Federation of Small Businesses and previously national operations manager for Punch Taverns.

RLA chairman Alan Ward said: “He brings a wealth of management experience which will guide and help the RLA’s continuing development and growth.”

The rapidly growing RLA now has 15,000 members.
